The one people turn to when buying or selling a home.
The one people know, like & trust.
The one that people refer you to family, friends and others.
Last week we talked about the power of specificity.
About getting crystal clear on who you serve, and more important, who you do NOT serve.
The more specific you get, the faster it is to position yourself as the leader in your marketplace.
And how do you do that?
By establishing yourself as the go to expert. The top of mind choice. The ONLY choice for them.
You need to be visible. You need to be putting out content — writing articles/blog posts, publishing videos, start a podcast, publishing a book (easier to do than you may think — I published my first one in 2012).
You can give speeches, talks, interviews, and/or workshops/seminars.
Sure putting out content is work, however, content works for you 24/7/365. I have YouTube videos that agents still watch that I made in 2014/2015. I have blog posts from a few years ago that still generate me leads to this day.
Put a little time in today, for something that will work for you in 2019? Sounds like a wise investment to me.
Since this is the start of the second quarter, here is where I would start…
One form of content — a blog, a podcast, a daily/weekly video, one interview per week, etc
One lead generation system
One traffic source (I like Facebook, as it is filled with opportunity, especially for real estate agents)
For the next 90 days, focus on making ONE thing work. Like Gary Keller talks about in his book, The One Thing.
