If you ave read this blog you know that I am a big believer in content marketing to market your business. Content (blog posts) lasts forever and could generate leads in 6, 12, 18+ months after spending an hour or so writing the post.
Does cold calling do that?
What about TV ads?
Creating content establish your company as the authority in your industry. People are using Google to find the answers to their problems. What problems does your product/service solve? People are asking these questions (via a Google Search), don’t you think it would benefit your company to provide the answers they are looking for?
How about take all the questions you’ve been asked over the years and create blog posts for each? Better yet, how bout creating a video for each question? You can record the video, upload it to YouTube and embed it on your website. Now you have the answer in two form; video & text.
Remember, YouTube is the second largest search engine behind Google. Yes, the video sharing site is bigger than Yahoo and Bing. It’s not jut a place for Justin Bieber and funny cat videos. It can also be used for business, too.
